Remembering Tokyo

I lived in Tokyo for 1 and half year. It was by far the most interesting city. It is so similar to Korea, yet so different. A ciry full of energy and people. All the best and the worst experiences, I had it in Tokyo. Anywho, I was just going back to the old days, and just thought about my life in this wonderful city.
Whenever I get gloomy, I went to either Mori Tower in Roppongi, or 東京都庁, the tokyo metropolitan government building. View from up high in Tokyo is compared to nothing, and that really cheered me up. Also I liked to watch Tokyo Tower, just walk around it and watch it lighted up. So here it is. My little memory. It took me 4 hours to finish. I actually don't really like it, and it is so hard to draw all the crazy neon signs and cars on the street. At the end where I had to add some last touch I got really lazy and just made it all blurry and finished it...

Pics of the backyard of my apartment

This is my lovely backyard of the apartment... and since it is getting warmer and warmer lately, I am really looking forward to have bbq party with friends. Just thinking about it makes me happy... because you know... this winter has been so long almost half a year, and I am going to enjoy every second of spring and summer to compensate my pain during the winter. :)

Flying high

I had to take a walk

I'm caughing all the time and just can't stop sneezing. It's horrible. Such a disaster and now it has become an excuse for me to not study. :p I'm so good at making up excuses. haha

Anywho, I was going to be depressed if I didn't do anything about it, so I took a walk to the Frederiksberg Have.

New Lense

I  bought a new lense for my camera. It's a Canon 50mm 1.4. It is a macro lense so has no zoom or anything. But it clearly takes really good pics. It has soft yet sharp and warm image. 1.4 is pretty bright and one thing you get is great out-of-focus effect. Anywho, it was quite expensive... more than I thought but I am 100% satisfied now. :) Here are some pics I took for test.
I just love taking pictures of parked bikes. :)

Still I have to work myself out to get certain angles and distance since there is no zoom, but I think that is part of this lense's attractiveness. You actually have to get closer to the subject yourself... not using your camera. Hope I get used to that. :p
